I've been refraining from posting here about current events; I figure that Twitter and Tumblr are better venues for that. However, I thought some of you might be interested in this list of links I just posted at my other accounts.

Holy cow. I have GOT to get the new website up! Money has been the big issue.

And thank you for the lovely compliment. Feel free to comment on my Cambrian Explosion posts if you like them. ;) I've left off for a while because I was struggling with the material in my Coursera class, but I haven't abandoned the textbook.

(That part was actually pre-Cambrian, btw. You kind of have to start lots earlier to understand why the Explosion happened; there was a build-up to it.)

LOL, no need to feel bad. It's not as if this is familiar stuff for people who aren't paleonerds.

Thank you for the Vox Populli tip! I'm currently planning to go with Dreamhost as per Tyellas's advice, but it may be that my fanfic would be a better fit for Vox Populli. (I noticed that they ban bestiality, and unfortunately a couple of my original fics do have it.)

In any case, it's always better to have more than one option. ;)
